 Genoa (Zena in Ligurian) is a commune of 615,686 residents, capital of the Province of Genoa and of the Liguria Region . It is the sixth Italian town for population, while its urban area count about 800,000 residents. Its port is, in the commercial branch, the most important of Italy and on the whole one of the greater of the Mediterranean sea.
 Part of its historic city center does part from the July 2006 of the properties of the humanity of UNESCO (see detail). Town from the glorious past, capital of the Genovesato, strong of ancient traditions, it is known like La Superba.
